ANCONA JAZZ starts as “Jazz Club Ancona” in 1973, with the very first concert in 1974, with the solo piano by Martial Solal. After single concerts all around, in 1979 the first concert series were hosted at the local “Teatro Sperimentale”. Since then every year seamless the greatest number of musicians all over the world were our guests. ANCONA JAZZ has been able to renew itself over time, arriving in 2004 at its first summer festival Ancona Jazz Summer Festival - AJSF: Initially at the Teatro delle Muse, from 2010 one of the main cultural events with the prestigious “Mole Vanvitelliana”
